Deinde disiungit manus, et disiunctas tenet usque ad finem Præfationis: qua finita, iterum iungit eas, et inclinatus dicit: Sanctus. Et cum dicit: Benedíctus, qui venit, signum crucis sibi producit a fronte ad pectus.

The Preface comes to its end. The priest joins his hands before his breast, bows, and says the Sanctus in the same voice, the server ringing the bell meanwhile. At the words “Benedíctus qui venit in nómine Dómini” he straightens up and signs himself with the cross from forehead to breast. The Canon begins immediately after, said silently.
